Project
description

My bachelor project explores how VR can be used to communicate knowledge about sustainable initiatives in cities to primary school students. The project was developed in collaboration with Bakkeskolen in Kolding and based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 11.

Insight &
context

Through research, drawing exercises and interviews, the concept was developed with a focus on making learning concrete, action-oriented and engaging for the students.

Process and result

The result is an interactive VR version of Kolding, where students work in groups to go on a treasure hunt for sustainable solutions such as solar panels, water tanks, waste sorting and green spaces, and then share their findings with each other.
